About this book
The Beginner Reading Ladders book helps new readers build full sentences one word at a time. Each ladder starts with a single word and adds one more on every line, so your child only ever works on one small new piece. Each page has three ladders in soft colored boxes, then a fourth box that puts the three finished sentences together into a short story your child reads on their own.

What age is it for?
Most children start around 4 to 6, once they know their letter sounds. Older children who find reading hard often enjoy it too, because each step is so small.
How is it different from flashcards or worksheets?
Flashcards practice single words. Worksheets often jump straight to full sentences. A ladder sits in between: your child reads one word, then the same words again with one more, so they build a full sentence without being overwhelmed, and then read three sentences together as a short story.
